Privacy Policy

This policy describes how BNB Services LLC ("BNB Services") collects and uses information when you use our marketplace website and related services.
1. Information we collect
- Account data — name, email, password (hashed by our auth provider), host organization details.
- Booking data — stay dates, guest counts, notes, payment references (card details are handled by Stripe when payments are enabled).
- Listing & media — property details and photos you or partners upload.
- Technical data — IP, device/browser type, and basic analytics needed to operate and secure the site.
2. How we use information
To operate the marketplace, process bookings, communicate about accounts and stays, prevent fraud, improve the product, and comply with law. Hosts may receive guest contact details needed to fulfill a stay.
3. Sharing & processors
We use service providers under contracts that limit use of your data. We do not sell personal information. Current processors include:
- Supabase — authentication and application database
- Vercel — website hosting and edge delivery
- Stripe — payment processing (card data stays with Stripe when checkout is enabled)
- Resend — transactional email (magic links, booking notices)
- Cloudflare R2 — media storage / CDN for listing photos
- Sentry — error monitoring (no intentional session replay; we avoid sending payment card data)
- MapTiler / OpenFreeMap — map tiles when you open map views (IP and approximate location may be processed by the map provider)
- BNB portal systems — guest support chat and inventory operations for stays we manage
Support chat ("Ask about this stay") may store your name, email, and message on our operations systems so our team can reply.
4. Retention
We keep account and booking records as long as needed for the service, legal obligations, and dispute resolution. Support messages are retained while a conversation is active and for a reasonable period afterward for quality and fraud prevention. You may request deletion subject to those needs.
5. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards. No method of transmission is 100% secure; protect your password and notify us of unauthorized access.
6. Text messages (SMS / MMS) — guest marketplace
When guest SMS is enabled, we send transactional and informational messages only to numbers that opted in on bnbthis.com forms (unchecked SMS checkbox). Phone number alone is not consent. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel, HELP for help. Full program details: SMS terms.
Mobile numbers and SMS opt-in data for the guest program are not sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Service providers (for example Twilio) may process numbers only to deliver our messages. We do not buy SMS consent lists. Owner / lead SMS is described on owners.bnbthis.com/privacy, not this page.
7. Your choices & data rights
Update profile details in your account, opt out of non-essential marketing emails, and contact us to access, correct, or request deletion of personal data where applicable. Email support@bnbthis.comwith the subject line "Privacy request." We aim to respond within 30 days. We do not sell personal information. For SMS, reply STOP or use the options in our SMS terms.
